canard deux

canard deux originated close to Seillans in Southern France. We know German "Ente" - le canard or deux chevaux - as a symbol for rural french lifestyle: simple, relaxed, yet smart and joyful. Too spartan for some. But: the contemplative trip à deux in a deux chevaux across Southern France may also today be a most joyful experience - provided the travellers bring sufficient time, joy and ease to access contemplation. canard deuy shows an early example, still without rear triangle windows, but with corrugated bonnet, the colour in perfect harmony to the scenery. The travellers have taken the road sign message for a brief time out, possibly to sense the smell of Provence - or to record the intense magic of the moment.
