red pole
red pole happened on the Schlei in Schleswig-Holstein, Northern Germany. Schlei looks like a river, yet it actually is a Fjord and Germany's only one, an arm of the Baltic Sea reaching about 40km inland, carrying salted sea water. Schlei is embedded in a most wonderful undulated landscape, open fields and pittoresque villages, one of the cosiest being Siseby.
Our red pole seems to be an ordinary passer-by, enjoying thewarm summer afternoon on the pier in Siseby, watching sailboats, birds, or local swimmers. Or maybe not, maybe he is afamous local painter, taking a rest from his creation of an important new art work. Or maybe none of that. Whoever he is, whatever his thoughts, he adds real essence to the image which would have been pretty empty without him and his fashionable red shirt. Thanks for choosing it this morning and posing on the pier, leaning to the pole there.
