As Curators we select presented photography and acquire all related rights.

The p-magon way

p-magon has developped a particular, innovative way of curating, editing and marketing fine photography, following these principles:

• We invite amateurs of fine photography to be member of our p-magon community
• We invite member-photographers to present what they consider best of their personal photography
• We select what we consider best of presented photography
• We edit selected images at our own and full discretion - to apply the particular p-magon style
• We present and market selected and edited photography on our p-magon webiste under the p-magon brand
• We perform all sales fulfillment, i.e. production, shipping, payment collection, services and more to customers
• We return a fair share of profits from every print sold to the creator of the original photography.

 

What we expect

Not much really, but ceratinly:

• The finest of your photography you believe will fit the p-magon style
• JPEG or RAW files
• Imperatif: no editing, pre-treatment / Photoshop

 

Legal

Some legal framework will help us get along well. Please consider:

• By presenting your photography, you enter into a curation-, editing- and marketing-agreement with p-magon
• Most important: you transfer all intellectual property and other rights on selected original photography to p-magon
• Non-selected photography will be returned / data deleted

Photographer compensation

Photographer compensation is based on a particular pricing scheme and a fair profit share. 

• Our pricing scheme is designed to exploit the maximum price elasticity for every single motif  - see "Pricing"
• We return 25% of our Gross Margin (net revenue minus production, fulfilment cost) to the photographer.
• The more buyers a single motif attracts, the higher the photographer compensation - both in relative and absolute terms..
